The Wayfarers Association Hillwalking Club

Welcome to the website for the Wayfarers Association Hillwalking club. We have over 300 members, mainly from Dublin although we have members from all corners of the country. As we are a Dublin based club we do most of our walking in the Wicklow/Dublin mountains area, but we also take regular trips to other parts of Ireland.

Each Sunday we have three hikes, a Short hike of 14k to 16k, an Intermediate hike which is usually 15k to 19k and a Long Hike, usually 19k+ geared towards those who like a tougher day in the mountains and which requires a high level of fitness. Each hike is led by a club member. Club members are involved in a wide range of hillwalking/hiking/climbing activities, and those members also frequently organise trips away. Anyone over 18 is welcome to join.

We hope you enjoy your visit to our website and if you are interested in joining the Wayfarers we would be delighted to hear from you. We encourage people to come out a couple of times with us before deciding whether or not you wish to join, so feel free to come along on a hike any time that suits.
